When I try to download from Synaptic all I get is this....on all programs


W: Failed to fetch http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/poo...untu2_i386.deb
404 Not Found [IP: 91.189.91.14 80]

What version of ubuntu because the link you posted says 12.01 & there isn't 1 & if it's supposed to be 12.1 then it's unsupported.

Sorry about not putting that in I'm using Ubuntu 12.10
I have a cd with 13.1 but the last time I upgraded every thing was lost and had to download all over again
so any advice in installing 13.1 without having to reinstall all programs would be as great help

13.10 support ends in a couple of weeks get 14.04.1 LTS it's supported until 2019
