when Ghostscript is used?

with printer Non-PostScript ou with printer postScript?

Use Ghostscript with Postscript files sent to a postscript printer.

so thi is wrong:

"PostScript is the standard Linux printing language, and Ghostscript converts PostScript into bitmap formats that are acceptable to non-PostScript printers."

so, what filter use with Postscript files sent to a non-postscript printer?
