Whats wrong with my keyboard?

I can't make @ and other symbols with my keyboard. The only way i can make them is to copy them from a text and paste them. Im using a swedish keyboard, but the thing is that it has worked before and haven't changed any configurations. So my questions are, how dit it happend, and how do I reconfigure it.

Hi,

Add your keyboardlayout from controlcentre in either kde or gnome. If that doesent solve the problem, try adding your layout manually to either XFree86-Config-4 or xorg, conf depending on your distribution of Debian.

Sincerely, Jorgen
