What to save the 'make.config' file as in Gentoo Installation?

I'm trying to install Gentoo Linux but when I get to the part where it asks me to add some code to the 'make.config' (and other '.config' files) I add the code to it, and then I have to click 'Ctrl+X' to exit it, but before I exit it asks me to save. Now what should I save it as? There is something like "DOS Format, MAC Format, To Files, etc." So can anyone help me out here? Thx!
