What program conigures network during Fedora textmode installation?

I was installing Fedora 9 in textmode today, and finally got into the program, which asked me network parameters etc.

What a program was it and how to call it again from command line?

I found utility

system-config-network-tui

but it is not what I am looking for, since I remember an option "active on boot", which is not preented in this utility.

I believe that during install Fedora uses anaconda for configuration. I do not think you can use it post install..
http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Anacon...NetConfigForNM

If you just want to make the card active on boot, just edit the config file..

* /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0 : First Ethernet card configuration file
* /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth1 : Second Ethernet card configuration file

To edit/create first NIC file, type command:

# vi ifcfg-eth0
Append/modify as follows:

Code:
# Intel Corporation 82573E Gigabit Ethernet Controller (Copper)
DEVICE=eth0
BOOTPROTO=static
DHCPCLASS=
HWADDR=00:30:48:56:A6:2E
IPADDR=10.10.29.66
NETMASK=255.255.255.192
ONBOOT=yes

If that doesn't work then you probably have an issue somewhere else..

maybe it's attempting to enable the interface before the module is loaded or something along those lines.
