what means a bug: kernel timer added twice...


hi there,
i have recently installed fedora core 1 and i have some pblms with it; since i am a quite linux newbe i ask for help

1)
running demsg i find a bug listed quite a few times:

bug: kernel timer added twice at e08ed627.

but i am not sure what it actually means...

can anyone give me a clue what can it be linked to ?

2)
i get no sound even though i get my soundcard detected
when try to play a sound the whole sys freezes
running dmsg i find some messages concerning the sound card too
