Please post the output of
Code:
cat /etc/apt/sources.list
Please use code-tags for this.
It seems that there is an error in your repository-list.

Hi,

I pasted your output into an editor and it appears that it is complaining about this line (it's the last one):
Code:
deb http://archive.canonical.com/lucid partner
Try the following:
[EDIT]
On second thought, it is probably better to edit the offending line manually. It should look like this:
Code:
deb http://archive.canonical.com/ lucid partner
Or maybe
Code:
deb http://archive.canonical.com/ubuntu lucid partner
Not 100% sure since I haven't used ubuntu for a while.
Do not forget to run
Code:
sudo apt-get update
after you edit /etc/apt/sources.list

Code tags http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi....php?do=bbcode
Write [/code] at text end, and [code] at start.

Line 49
Code:
deb http://archive.canonical.com/lucid partner
A space is missing. Must be
Code:
deb http://archive.canonical.com/ lucid partner
