What is the Optimal SW to send/recieve SMS through connected mobile

Dear All
Hope youe are all fine

In one application I am creating it is required to send SMS through Redhat EL 5

I found the most known SW is gnokii as it enable sending from host command line (that will be easy for me to send from Oracle application using calling host command)

I succeeded after complete one week to send SMS from Linux using gnokii with Nokia 6230 mobile but after sending the first message many errors face me like tty port locking , and connectivity problems

So I hope if any one knows good and reliable SW to use (through command line) I will be thankful

Regards,
Ahmed
