Any one could tell me some simple points of that what is the difference between Centos 4 and centos 5.

The changes between versions are usually listed in the Release Notes of the new version of any distribution release. The page below has several links to information on CentOS 5.10.

first 4 is dead and unsupported
cent5 is on 5.10 and is showing it's age
cent6.5 is the main version
with CentOS 7.0 JUST came out
