what is the best system for a Dell Inspiron 17


I have been using linux since 2006.I am using opensuse leap, Just the average user wanting to know whatbis the best system for my laptop

Why not stick with opensuse?

Hello and welcome to the forum

As erik2282 has stated, if you like openSUSE and it works well on your system, why not keep it? However, if you're wanting something different, please post the hardware specs of your system, such as the processor and amount of memory. It might also help to post the results of this command...

This will possibly help us give you better, more precise recommendations. Also, please tell us what kinds of things you do with your system, things you're needing it to do.

my personal experience with Linux on a laptop since 2012. Well I've tried way over 20 distro's since 2012 - just about every major one out there, and some others off of distowatch and personally, I think it all boils down to personal preference.
