What is the best Linux OS for newbies
Hello,
I want to know the best Linux OS for new desktop user. |
Why do soooo many people ask this same question on a forum? You can just do a Google search and you'll find hundreds of threads that ask the same exact question and they all get pretty much the same kind of answers.

I see your last post was about Chromoum crashing on Ubuntu. Did you ever get that solved? Have you just decided that you'll give up, or is it just that you don't like Ubuntu?
I've reviewed over 100 distros across the years, and I'd say the best for the ordinary home user are Mint, PCLinuxOS, OpenSUSE, Salix, and Manjaro. All are easy to use, reliable, and (vital for the beginner!) they have documentation understandable by ordinary humans. |

I used Ubuntu for a while (way better than microcoughed) solid distro with a good name, tho I prefer to cut out any middle persons and just make it the way I want it with a netinst. :)
