What is phpize? (and how it works more in detail)
 

So, Im new to the Linux world, and Im "playing" with some Apache, MySql, Php, etc framework.. and so far except some ./configure magic and all that stuff makes sense.

But, I dont have a clue about what phpize is.. or does.

I googled it and it seems like it configure the enviroment before you compile the code.. or something like that, but its prety unclear.

Any ideas?
