What is 'lmlib' and where do I find it

Hi,

I am using SuSE LINUX 8.2 Professional and have a strange problem. I just tried picture-viewers like KUICKSHOW, GQview and PIXIEPLUS. But non of them is able to show me my jpgs. I just got an error that the 'lmlib' might not be installed correctly. I searched YAST and Google for it without any result. Please give my advise.

Thanks in advance.

Freshmeat

Then search for imlib... I'm 99.9999% positive you'll get an exact match. That site and Sourceforge are your best friends for finding software (maybe even rpmfind.net if you like RPMs).

You are warned though: Imlib has dependencies. To install it, you'll probably have to install other packages (like libjpeg). If you use a package manager like RPM or apt, then it should take care of the dependencies for you. If you like compiling from source, then you'll have to plod through them yourself.

Why do u need those programs? I couldnt find lmlib on google either. Try other programs such as:
http://www.gnome.org/gnome-office/eog.shtml
http://www.gimp.org/
I am sure they have all the capabilities you would need

You can see (and download) the dependencies from http://www.enlightenment.org./pages/download.html According to the project description at freshmeat, the library was originally written for Enlightenment, but later used by the GNOME development team.
