What if 32 bit software is installed on 64 bit os and vice versa?
 
I wanted to know what will happen if I install 32 bit software on a 64 bit OS and what if 64 bit software is installed on 32 bit OS ?
It will run faster or slower ?
Does it affect my laptop's hardware ?

64BIT OS will run your 32BIT apps (Most of them at leas) you probably wont even notice any different. But 32BIT OS wont run anything that has been coded for 62BIT.

To be safe run 32bit apps in 32bit OS and 64BIT apps in 64BIT OS.
