What happened to Xf86Config?

How do you adjust monitor and video cards in slackware 11? It used to be Xf86Config but I cant find it. Anytime I try to change resolutions, my desktop crashes.

you are probably not using xfree86! perhaps you are using xorg? look for the file xorg.conf :-) - right where you'd expect your xfree config to be

Thanx, found it. Or found xorgcfg, it doesnt change anything tho. Whenever I make changes, the same configuration still comes up. It wont change my monitor settings. Maybe afterstep is the problem.
