Here is what I tried just now. I used another CD with an ISO image. It mounted well. Then I listed all the files in it using ls -l. Then I was able to umount it finally

This CD that I was unable to mount is actually a Data CD. What can cause a special problem for a data CD not to mount ?!!

By the way, I just burned this data cd and it said that the burn was successful.
