Unhappy What did I do to Gnome?

I was on a rampage deleting every file that I had been done using, but I seemed to have deleted a file that erased the chages I made to my desktop (icons, wallpaper, etc). Does anybody know what I deleted? So I don't make a mistake like that again?

Unless you give us a list of what you deleted, wouldn't you think we would have no idea to know which file was deleted.

This is one of those psychic type questions I'm sure most could not answer til we have details....

"I removed some parts out of my car engine, can anyone tell me why it doesn't start now?" - Same as your question. Pretty hard to answer right without details. Just thought I'd provide an example.
