What can I use to resize jpegs via script/command line?
 
My camera outputs at 1600x1200 by default.

I'd like, on every pic I want to upload to my website, to resize to 800x600, and create a thumbnail 120x90. Rather than open Gimp, resize, save_as, resize, save_as, for each one, can this be done in a script automatically?

Try convert:
man convert

There is an example in there.
