WG511T locks up fc2 when inserted
 

Dell Inspiron 5100
Fedora Core 2 / Windows XP (dual boot)
Netgear WG511T

When booting into FC2 with the card inserted into the pc card slot, the machine will halt when loading the pcmcia module. Ejecting the card will allow the laptop to proceed. Inserting the card at any point will cause the system to halt.

Booting into WinXP, the card works great (using it right now).

Downloaded and compiled the latest madwifi drivers from CVS, compiled with no errors. modprobe.conf and ifcfg-ath0 look correct.

There is no entry in /etc/pcmcia/config for this card, or any Atheros card. Could that be causing the lockup?

This combination has worked beautifully in the past, but not anymore.

Any ideas??
