weird problem with start sound in Fedora 9
 
Hi guys, I hope you can help me with the following:

It's that kind of problems that bugs everytime you turn on your pc. Before my laptop started with a fantastic welcome sound, but now everytime it starts with the speakers at min volume (not muted) how can I change so it starts at full volume?

start kmix and set volumes or left click on loudspeaker icon

Thanks for your reply, but what is kmix and how do I start it

goto applications>Multi media>sound mixer= kmix
