Weird issues with some files

Hello,

I am having some problems in my server while rendering some type of files and I don't know why.
ie: (test.css and test.php have exactly same content and they show different results. If in linux I type "cat test.css" looks fine, but if I download it by ftp, or look the following url no.)
http://www.xater.com/test/test.css
http://www.xater.com/test/test.php

the only thing I have seen is that if I upload the css file in ascii mode then when I download it again by ftp it looks ok (but not in apache)

The same thing happens with .gif .js .txt extensions.

I am absolutely lost and maybe anyone can give me and idea to follow. Or if you need more info please tell me.

Thanks in advance

Try using a different FTP manager to upload your files. I have had problems with certain FTP managers doing weird stuff to files also. When I changed the FTP client...no problems.
