weird ipod mount


Ok, so i have my ipod mounted...but when i go in /mnt/ipod the only files in there are /001/001, 002/002, and /devices/devices. when i run gtkpod i get errors about file structure on the ipod. any ideas?

Are there actually songs on it, like does it play? And what filesystem are you using to mount it?

I am just answering my own question, in case anyone stumbles across this post with the same problem. The "fix" for me at least, was to reformat the ipod. Don't know why the file structure appeared ok, but it must have been corrupted somehow. Perhaps a bad unmount, who knows. regardless, it was somewhat new and didn't have any music on it.
