Question weird high-tone sound from videocard 8600GT, Mandriva 2008

When I installed the newest driver, my videocard started making strange high-tone sound. It happens when KDE starts and ends right after I go to a console mode. There is no such sound with default driver and in Windows. So, I think this is a problem of driver. Any suggestions?
PS. without new driver i have no OpenGL =(
