weechat with tor (proxy connection refused?)

This is my irc.conf, I already setup nickserv and SASL beforehand and it worked fine,

Code:
[server]
freenode.addresses = "chat.freenode.net/7000"
freenode.proxy = "tor"
freenode.ipv6
freenode.ssl = on
freenode.ssl_cert
freenode.ssl_priorities
freenode.ssl_dhkey_size
freenode.ssl_fingerprint
freenode.ssl_verify
freenode.password
freenode.capabilities
freenode.sasl_mechanism = dh-blowfish
freenode.sasl_username = "myuser"
freenode.sasl_password = "mypass"
freenode.sasl_key
freenode.sasl_timeout
freenode.sasl_fail
freenode.autoconnect = on
freenode.autoreconnect
freenode.autoreconnect_delay
freenode.nicks = "mynick"
freenode.nicks_alternate
freenode.username = "myuser"
freenode.realname
freenode.local_hostname
freenode.command
freenode.command_delay
freenode.autojoin =
freenode.autorejoin
freenode.autorejoin_delay
freenode.connection_timeout
freenode.anti_flood_prio_high
freenode.anti_flood_prio_low
freenode.away_check
freenode.away_check_max_nicks
freenode.default_msg_kick
freenode.default_msg_part
freenode.default_msg_quit
freenode.notify
I added these commands below to get Tor going. Followed this guide http://pastebin.com/k8XHaABN

(Surprised there wasn't one on the archwiki)

Code:
/proxy add tor socks5 127.0.0.1 9050
/set irc.server.freenode.proxy "tor"
/set irc.server.freenode.sasl_mechanism dh-blowfish
The message I recieve is irc: proxy connection refused

On the guide it says 'hostname/IP and port depend on your TOR configuration' I'm not sure what this means. I'm using arch

That's the localhost (lo adapter) ip. Are you sure you wanted to add your local host as a socks proxy?
