Introduction to Linux - A Hands on Guide
This guide was created as an overview of the Linux Operating System, geared toward new users as an exploration tour and getting started guide, with exercises at the end of each chapter.
For more advanced trainees it can be a desktop reference, and a collection of the base knowledge needed to proceed with system and network administration. This book contains many real life examples derived from the author's experience as a Linux system and network administrator, trainer and consultant. They hope these examples will help you to get a better understanding of the Linux system and that you feel encouraged to try out things on your own.

I want to create a simple website. I'm an IT Consultant and just want to show the services that I do, areas I go to, prices etc etc etc
what program can I use to accomplish this? siteground is hosting my site and I have the ability to upload using FTP.
I used Dreamweaver to upload an "under construction sign" and that's about it.
I hate using w$ndows and every time I want to work on the site I have to boot to xp wait probably 15 minutes until I could start working on the site.
LOL... I'm a command line junkie too! even when I have to work on a w$ndows computer first thing I do is cmd (enter) lol I'm lucky that the company I work for uses a POS system that the GUI is only the POS.. if you need to do real work you have to run CMD! thanks for the advice! I will def give it a try!
