Unhappy webmin-operation error

hello I am a newbie.. i have been running linux for a while now, and really love it.. now I want to expand my knowlegde.

I downloaded webmin--got it working last night..Under mandreake 8.2--

I has to go into the Wizdrake and setup the network..
and webmin was working..
This morning the internet wasn't connected..I had to do my internet hook up.. got it workilng and now Webmin is not working.. i tried uninstalling and reinstalling...maybe to many times.

I installed it through TAR. and had to change the port to 10001
it said it installed and should work..

ok now when I put in
http://rainbow2.rainbowstop.com:10001/

it says
operation timed out when attemping to connect to Rainbow2.rainbowstop.com.

I changed the port number because I couldn't install the tar without doing it..
I had install on Rpm and it wouldn't let me uninstall them
so I deleted all the files..
proablbly shouldn't have done that right..
anyway can anyone help please..
should I reinstall my Operating system.
or what..
Naomi
