webdiff script

Hi guys
I need tio crease webdiff such that

webdiff compares the contents of a local file to a remote file and displays each line
that differs. If locald is a directory and remote is not, webdiff compares the file in the remote directory
whose file name is the same as local. The reverse also applies.

If both local and remote are directories then compare and/or archive each file in the directory recursively
(all sub directories are checked too
Code:
SYNOPSIS
webdiff [options] [archive filename] local remote
no idea where to begin. any help please?
