Webcam Nakashi not working (dlv-b01)

Hi guys
I'm getting troubles when configuring this webcam.

Looking for help on google I found that it works on Linux probably with driver dlv-b01) but I cannot find it anywhere.

Looked for such module, without success...

Does anyone have already configured such camera on Linux?

Thank you.

by the way, I'm using Debian.

Regards

Next time please try to read other threads about webcam recognition since it will show you what information you need to post to get replies. Webcam recognition revolves around the kernel knowing the chipset. Running 'lsusb' should show it's a Microdia, which should mean the (g)spca driver should work. There's many threads at LQ that hold instructions on getting that to work. Once your cam is recognised please enter it in the http://www.linuxquestions.org/hcl/. Thanks in advance.

Hi, thanks for replying

I've looked for threads about this webcam.. but didnt find any one.

when I run "lsusb" it shows me:

Quote:

Bus 001 Device 001: ID 0000:0000
I'm sorry, but I dont know how to proceed...

You could check (as root) your logs (/var/log/messages etc, etc) or plug in the device and then type "dmesg" and see if it says *something*. If it doesn't say anything at all and if it doesn't work in another OS and if there's no indicator light or other features from which you can see it works it may be unsupported or broken?
