Question WEB camera in linux


Kindly help me the applications that are to be installed(from software manager) so as to use WEB CAMERA on my laptop.If these applications are installed on my system(by default), help me with how to use the application

Hello,

It depends on what you want to do with your webcam. Chat using an IM client? Videocalling using Google, Skype, other? Take pictures or make videos with your webcam? Cheese is an example of a webcam application. Google has a lot more valuable information.
