We need some information. Which plugin did you install? Which browser are we talking about? Which distribution are you using?

Was the Flash package you installed the Macromedia Flash player? If you are using Mozilla click on Help and see what plug-ins are listed as having been already installed. The Macromedia Flash plug-in is not installed by default. Fortunately there is a Linux verison of the plug-in available. On the above mentioned page that describes what plug-ins you have installed click on the link to netscape.com. A web page will then appear which lists various plug-ins that are available to be downloaded. You will see "Macromedia Flash Player" listed and make sure that you download the Linux version. After downloading the plug-in you may need to install the plug-in, I do not remember the details. So anyway, the Macromedia Flash plug-in works great under Linux on my computer. If you use a different Linux browser you would still need to download the plug-in.
