on redhat 4 u3 advanced server
i try this give me error

[root@1 ~]# cd /mnt/
[root@1 mnt]# mkdir usbflash
[root@1 mnt]# ls /mnt/
usbflash
[root@1 mnt]# mount /dev/sda1 /mnt/usbflash
mount: fs type ntfs not supported by kernel

Hi

If you running in RHEL 4/5, the drive should be automounted.

Run:

Code:
# mount
And you should see the drive mounted somewhere under /media.

yoU have to load/install external ntfs module into the redhat kernel so that it will recognize the ntfs partition.

INstall fuse and ntfs-3g module ,then you can mount the ntfs partition.
