Way to reset SuSE Linux 10.0 32bit version from 64?
I have had little or no luck trying to get my OpenGL working on my Dell 8400 (Using ATI Radeon X300 video card). Having realized I installed the 64 bit without thinking it through, I suspect maybe the drivers don't work with 64 bit version? Is there any way to switch over to the 32 bit once I have installed and setup the 64 bit? I really hate to have to start from scratch and reinstall and customize all my apps all over again. any help or suggestions would be appreciated.
Can I simply upgrade to version 10.1 32 bit on top of the 10.0 64 bit? |
Hi,
Im afraid you will have to do a reinstall. That will without any doubt also give you the best results in the long run :) Its worth it. SuSe rocks to start up with when new to linux. Sincerely, Jørgen |
