Was needing help

I have just bought a hard drive and add linux and windows xp. I know I mess up because I add linux first and windows second. Big Mistake I was wondering what kind of disk or floppy do I need to get in order to wipe it out and start over by adding windows first. Thanks for your help.

OK-welcome to LQ-what kind of computer do you have?
Which Linux Distro are you trying to install?
Yes, you should install windows first-then Linux.
What size is your Hard Drive?
If you have a Linux LiveCD it will probably have Gparted on it and you can use it to partition your Hard Drive.
Most LiveCD's can auto-partition for you-just basically make 3 partitions-
#1-Windows
#2-Linux
#3-Linux Swap
It really matters which linux you are trying to install...

What do you like to do ?
Formatted the hard drive.
In this download gparted burn it as iso file
It is a LIVE CD
So you can create you're partitions and formatted for windows NTFS and linux native ext3 or some thing else
No need to say that windows should be on SDA1
