Wanting to trying linux *again*

I am just wondering whats a good newbie friendly linux to start off with thats compatiable with Intel Graphic Cards (Intel(R)82865G Graphic Controller). Is also compatiable with games, i am looking for a linux able to run World of Warcraft and games as such. Thanks alot.

According to Intel, Any Linux distro will support that card, but if Windows games are your main consideration, my recomendation would be to stick with Windows.

Ubuntu is a pretty newbie-friendly distro. Check the Wine Application Database to see if Wine will run World of Warcraft, I seem to remember it will but I don't remember. To be honest, I second the advice of rickh though, if you want games then Windows is probably best. I have a few games running through Wine acceptably (Namely Red Alert 2 and Pharaoh), but thats about it.

Wow, i have just tried the Live CD for Unbuntu, and is just working amazingly. Resolutiong and everything working perfectly, i get more ususage than windows tho, but i guess thats due to the live Cd and is only 10mb more. But i have 1 problem i cant access my Windows parition i want to try out if wine works out fine on live cd, how would i enable my adminstration over my windows paritions? i have accounts on my windows would that be affecting it? how would i disable or bypass it to access my drive? thanks alot. and for some reason my Gaim messenger wont work. i get some disconnect error after it authenciates. My firefox also wont load Hotmail or anything. except some forums like this.
