Post want to see HDD/RAM capacity


Dear Friends ,

I need to know the following things :

I want to see full HDD size, full RAM size and also the unallocated space
of the HDD into my Linux (RHEL 4) server.using which command in Linux I can
see it .


Plz onform .. ..

For hard disk usage, use df. For RAM, free.

I like to use:

$ df -H
$ free -m

Which gives you the size of the partitions in human readable format and the memory in MB

gkrellm shows the used and free RAM both graphically and in words.
Also shows a choice of other handy monitors.

Since I put gkrellm on my desktop (it's the ONLY thing on my desktop) I don't know how I ever managed without it.
