Question Want to replace NT with Linux

Hi,

I am kinda knew to linux, and I was thinking of replacing
my NT server with a Linux one. I set up samba but the windows
machines won't log on to the samba server, it says the password is incorrect.

I did everything the book said but nothing seems to work for me.

Thanks in advance for any help you could give me,

Abraham.

we had a similar problem here at one point when we were first setting up our linux server using samba.. are your passwords being "entered" into the server using plain text? cuz for some odd reason.. our server wouldn't recognize our passwords until we set it up using a plain text password setting...

kennie

(don't take my word on this... this is just what they tell me from above)
