Want to install flashplayer in BOTH konqueror and firefox

Basically, I have already downloaded libflashplayer.so
there is no plugin folder in my ubuntu but there is an nsplugin/dirs.d folder

What should I do?

Are you sure that there is no

Code:

/usr/lib/mozilla/plugins
or

Code:

/usr/lib64/mozilla/plugins
directory?

That is where it should go.

Application: nspluginviewer (nspluginviewer), signal: Segmentation fault

Are you, by chance, running Natty?

There is a bug in nspluginwrapper

It is a personal package archive, basically an unsupported alternative repository.

I don't use Konqueror, but can you try to use Konqueror to locate the plugin?

Quote:

"Locate Plugins" in Konqueror > Configure Konqueror > Web Browsing > Plugins?
