Want to change from Mandrake to Redhat


This is my first post so hope its in the right place.
I have Mandrake 9 intalled on a dual boot system with WinME as the other OS. I want to change to Redhat9 and would like to know what i need to do. Do I have to uninstall Mandrake first or can i boot from Redhat cd and delete Mandrake partition and .....er ....help please.

The RedHat installer will allow you to format the existing linux partitions. Just make sure you don't format your WinME partition! That would be really tragic.</Sarcasm>

Triple boot?

If you have enough space on your hard drive you could set up a triple boot Red Hat, Mandrake, WinME system.

Or, you could just format the whole computer. Things are less complicated that way.

I booted from the Redhat cd and followed the instructions and held my breath. It all went ok and Redhat 9 is on and working and windows is still there as well. Thanks for the help I am sure there will be more questions to follow.
