Want to build my own debian based light weight linux distro

Hello all,

I intend to build my own linux distribution preferably based on debian. I have tried linux customization tools like suse studio, remastersys, pungi and Linux From SCRIPT.
But I want to build something like Bodhi linux or Backtrack linux, with my own logo, themes and other customizations like any other linux distro.
I have executed full procedure of LFS but I do not want to build it from source every time.
Can you guys please suggest me a best possible way to achieve this?

Thank you

LiveBuild is designed to do exactly what you want to do. I'm doing the same thing, take a look at my signature to see what you can do.

Be aware that it takes a lot of trial and error, I would also suggest you subscribe to the mailing list as it will help you to develop your version.
