wallpaper setting in ubuntu 8.04
 

after i set a wallpaper in ubuntu 8.04 and then reboot the computer
it's gone.what should i do.

How do you set it?

i open the image with image viewer.
then there is Image->Set As_Wallpaper.i click that.

i get Appearance Preferences.there i select the image
as wallpaper.

In which directory is your image located?

it's in windows.from linux i access it.

Try to copy that image to your /home directory and see will it work.
