Wallpaper resets after logout/reboot

i am using Debian Wheezy with a minimal lxde install
i removed pcmanfm (file manager) because i prefer terminal (i purged it)
setting the wallpaper with feh works but whenever i logout, the wallpaper is reset to the default blue Debian pic

what file/service/... is doing this? how can i make the feh wallpaper permanent?

thanks,
Pieter

Where does the wallpapare is located which you r using , the wallpaper should be at thr drive which mount on startup . first paste in your folders like Picture or Home folder and then use it. i wish this'll help you.

the wallpaper is in my home /Pictures, so that shouldn't be a problem. thanks for the suggestion anyway
anybody else here who knows what might be going on? (note that the default lxde program for setting a wallpaper was removed along with some other lxde-core default programs)
