w3m text browser question

hi ,

i just used w3m , the text browser ! i must say it's quite impressive ... i can work in console n surf the net at the same time without switching b/w windows !!!

however 1 feature that i could not find is clicking buttons .... like when i sign into my yahoo mail (which uses a button to compose mail ) .... w3m does not see it as a link

... do u know if there is a way to get over that or any other text browser that can handle this ???

thanks
a

Becuase w3m doesn't knows how to handle javascripts, probably you are going face trouble in browsing most websites.

btw. you could try out other text browsers like:
lynx
elinks

I dont know whether they will help you or not, but you should give a try.

hey stormrider_may,

i tried links2 and i must say it's wuite impressive !

however when i navigate to a page which has a button in it (which is a link as well) ... when i highlight the button (it appears at text ...) in links i get something like

<code> button onclick: window.location ...... </code>

ok atleast links recognizes it .... but when i click on it nothing happens as according to links2 it's not a link !

any ideas ??

Well, links2 doesnīt have a full support for java script. But usually buttons works.

Which version exactly are you using?
