vsftpd problem

hi,

i have just installed CentOS 5 and started the vsftpd service,
till here everyting is ok.
the problems is to connect this ftp from outside while every other network applications of this server works great (HTTP, SSH, Internet Access) this one make whird problems cause if i try to connect it with a new user that i created with a password that i defind for this user the ftp just pass the login section and then stuck till time out (if i will type a wrong password it will prompt about it).
i thought it maybe a networking problem because all the complicated work of ftp ports, but what made me think that every thing ok with my network and the problem is some setting of the ftp is the fact that in ANONYMOUS i am being able to connect perfectly and even downloade files.

So can some one please tell whats the problem with my settings? (i left all as default)

thanks
gTech
