hi, the promiscuous ports need enable for FXP... And if you have a router, dont forget pasv_min and _max port :
in vsftpd.conf :
pasv_promiscuous=YES
port_promiscuous=YES
pasv_min_port=50000
pasv_max_port=50999

Don't help anymore.

I use FXP 1.2 build 924.
When I upload a file from my computer to the ftp server it runs fine
but whe i try to copy one from another server it says
Transfer Failed!
1 File failed to transfer
Server Error, Aborted

Could somebody help me ???

My vsftpd server is running o.K.
the vsftpd.conf says:
# Example config file /etc/vsftpd.conf
#
# The default compiled in settings are very paranoid. This sample file
# loosens things up a bit, to make the ftp daemon more usable.
#
# If you dont change anything here you will have a minimum setup for an
# anonymus FTP server.

# It is recommended that you define on your system a unique user which the
# ftp server can use as a totally isolated and unprivileged user.
#
nopriv_user=ftpsecure
#
#
# You may fully customise the login banner string:
#
ftpd_banner="Welcome to API/UR FTP service."
#
# You may activate the "-R" option to the builtin ls. This is disabled by
# default to avoid remote users being able to cause excessive I/O on large
# sites. However, some broken FTP clients such as "ncftp" and "mirror" assume
# the presence of the "-R" option, so there is a strong case for enabling it.
