VSFTPD - 550: Permission denied.


Hey guys, I am trying to get file from the ftp server (doing this is VMWare), I can login successfully, when I tried to "get" file, I am getting error - "550: Permission denied"-error.
C:\Documents and Settings\JJ>ftp 10.5.129.22
Connected to 10.5.129.22.
220 Welcome to MY FTP service.
User (10.5.129.22 (none)): ftp
331 Please specify the password.
Password:
230 Login successful.
ftp> ls
550 Permission denied.
550 Permission denied.
ftp> dir
550 Permission denied.
ftp>

The permissions on your FTP volume are denying you access. Check that the directory is readable by the FTP user, and writable if that's what you want.
