volue control option is not opening in redhat 5.0


while opening volume control option giving error as "no volume control gstreamer plugins and /or devices found"
system-config-soundcard
the audio device detected as INTEL CORPORATION 82801H(ICH8 FAMILY) HD AUDIO CONTROLLER
and in device settings...the PCM DEVICE IS NOT LISTED

my speaker is working fine in windows.-any solution?

I'm not sure if this is your problem, but there is a bug concerning this on the redhat bugzilla site
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=493790

Maybe that's whats wrong?
