Smile vmware image issue


Hi Team,

i am trying to create an image of Slackware OS but vmware is not able to detect the disk. it gives me below error,

"Unable to detect disks or volumes on the source machine. Make sure that the source is a supported linux distribution."

can some one tell me what do i need to do to create the image.

What version of VMware? is it ESXi? workstation? player? server? How are you configuring the Vm to read the disk? through an ISO? on the host?
