vm-pop3 email "clogged"

Hello,
I have a users email account that says "mailbox in use or receiving message" when she tries to download email. I looked in the email queue /var/spool/mqueue, but I do not know which emails in the queue may be blocking her account. Is this even the right way to go about it?
Thanks for you help!

OK, it fixed itself, but apparently it happens once in a while. She does not end up with a huge email or anthing, so perhaps it is a spam email filtering out?
