how can install vlc player on Redhat linux 5 . When I installed vlc rpm its require a lot of dependency.Please tell me step by step.

Why are you looking for having VLC on Server OS...Please find the link below of the script which makes you to install vlc. One thing you should make a note is, vlc runs only on a normal user. root cannot run any files
also install the yum plugin " yum-priorities" and set "rpmforge" to a lower number
That way you do not overwrite CRITICAL RHEL SYSTEM FILES with incompatible versions
I am using Red Hat Linux 2.6.18-8.el5.
How can I configure LDAP to sync Microsoft AD. Please tell me step by step. Is that possible to sync AD with Linux without LDAP or help with any third party software ???
