Question VLAN Tagged IP Packets in Linux

Hi
I tried sending out VLAN tagged handmade L2 packets and I am able to successfully do that. But when I try to send UDP packets via VLAN interface I couldnt send VLAN Tagged Packets.
Can someone help by providing code to send VLAN tagged IP packets in LINUX and C
Thanks in advance
